Referencing the themes of Mahler’s symphony, the posters visualize the diverse and frenzied collection of emotions felt amidst a passionate love affair. The posters utilize a bold color palette, reflecting the piece’s overlapping motifs of tragedy and triumph. The grid structure used in the second poster is a direct translation of the piece’s structure, which is composed of five movements split into three parts.
